My Journey towards Embracing the Pause

When I entered my 40s, I felt like a stranger in my own body—extra weight, mood swings, hair loss, unpredictable periods, and constant exhaustion. My doctor said these were normal perimenopausal symptoms for my age, but I didn’t feel normal. Sound familiar?

As a Holistic Health Practitioner, I thought, “I’m too young for this!” But my research revealed how misunderstood and underserved women are at this life stage. Menopause is a natural, feminine transition that should be revered, not fixed.

There’s nothing wrong with you. Together, we’ll deeply assess how you’re feeling and how your symptoms affect you. My personalized process will guide you to make healthy, sustainable lifestyle choices aligned with your unique needs and goals, so you can thrive in midlife.

What Menopause Coaches Do Not Do

As your coach, I do not perform clinical tasks (blood pressure, vaginal exams, etc.). I am by your side to provide physical and emotional support, to facilitate with any questions you may have and to provide information.

I do not make medical decisions on your behalf. I will help you to get the information necessary to make informed decisions. I will also remind you if there is a departure from your medical support or non-medical support plan.
I will discuss your concerns with you and suggest options. You, the client, always have the final say on what you choose to do for your health and well-being.

A menopause coach does not diagnose or prescribe. We do not replace medical practitioners, registered psychotherapists, or other practitioners who are regulated by their profession in the location that you live.

Always consult your physician prior to starting any nutrition, exercise, or health program.
